On the evening of Friday, October 16, clear skies allowed the Hong Kong Youth Astronomy Exploration Programme to hold its stargazing practicum successfully. Organised in collaboration with Galaxy Scientific Group, the event also opened places to non-members. In addition to an astronomy briefing, participants observed the Moon, Saturn, and its rings through Galaxy Scientific Group’s 32-inch telescope, the largest in Hong Kong, as well as other large observatory telescopes, with opportunities for hands-on imaging. A demonstration on smart telescope astrophotography was also included.
